There is no U.S. Embassy or Consulate in St. Kitts and Nevis.  The closest U.S. Embassy is in Bridgetown, Barbados and it is also responsible for these islands.  Consular Section hours are 8:30 am-11:30am and 1:00 pm-2:00 pm, Monday-Friday except local and U.S. holidays. U.S. citizens are encouraged to carry their U.S. citizenship evidence with them at all times, so if questioned by local officials, proof of identity and U.S. citizenship are readily available.
